Titanic International Film Festival

The biggest international film festival in Hungary, which showcases over 50 feature films, documentaries and animations, a varied programme with screenings of films by filmmakers from all over the world. First held in 1993 as a non-competitive event, the festival now includes an awards ceremony for the week's best films as judged by an international jury.

An international jury votes the receiver of the award unanimously. The prestigious award also comes with a €10,000 premium for the director of the winning movie.


You can enjoy screenings of many national and often controversial movies, at venues such as the theatres of Kossuth and Toldi.
